Whether you're learning from a self-help book, already studying psychology and mindfulness, or receiving coaching or counseling—I've found, from experience, that there's often something "missing". Please don't misread me here, all of those activities are quite excellent! But in my years of doing this work, first through my own healing journey and now almost a decade into coaching others, I have found that there is often a separation between what is being taught or learned and of people literally LIVING a lifestyle of PEACE.
We all talk about peace, yet how many of us actually rise to the occasion when it counts the most? I created this program to help fill in the gaps by providing you with action-oriented techniques and daily practices you can begin using immediately, even when life throws you curve balls. If you're already in a coaching or counseling program, combine what you learn here with it. Your Instructor
My journey began in 2010 when I opened my first healing center in Queen Creek, Arizona (just outside of Phoenix). During those eight years I worked with hundreds of people and developed a unique approach to helping people release the past, cultivate peace in the now, and move forward with happiness in the future. It never mattered what anyone’s challenge was—the core issue always came back to the necessity of learning presence and mindfulness through peace-oriented techniques.
In 2014 I published my first book, Living Peace, which introduced nine teachings and practices of learning how to master one’s thoughts, impulses and emotions. This self-mastery ability is what I now include in all of my coaching sessions and classes, alongside traditional psychology and Zen philosophy. The Inner Peace Boot Camp online course is an excellent introduction to some of my favorite teachings on mindfulness and Living Peace :)
In 2018 I sold my business in Arizona (Earth Spirit Center for Healing) and moved to Bayfield, Colorado with my husband to open The Zen Cowboy. We both have fond childhood memories of Durango and Bayfield so it was the perfect location for us to start our new life together. Our eventual goal is to open a Zen Retreat center near Vallecito Lake in Bayfield.
